Concorde Flight Leatherette Wallet 1990 British Airways
Description
You are looking at a British Airways Concorde flight folder from around the 1990’s. This type of folder was in the aircraft seat pocket designed as a gift for the lucky passengers that flew on this wonderful aircraft. With Concorde now grounded no longer fit to fly these items are becoming a very collectable item. The grey leather look folder is a little larger than A4 size and has a magnetic pop-stud to keep it closed. the inside of the folder has a Burgundy coloured fabric lining to it. Inside the folder there is included as follows. A Concorde A4 sized colour brochure of 12 pages giving a description of the aircraft and those who flew and worked on it. A Concorde A4 sized supersonic flight certificate which has NOT been filled in with any passengers details as yet. An A5 sized stationary pack with 3 embossed British Airways Concorde envelopes along with six embossed Concorde blank sheets of paper. Also there are two British Airways Concord postcards. There is also a pocket sized notebook in grey colour also with the Concorde British Airways logo. This item is in very good condition for the age (now nearly 20 years old ??) there are some minor marks to the folder and contents. Passengers on Concorde would have paid in the region of £2000 for a ticket to fly on such a British icon this folio folder is available to any interested collector for a fraction of the ticket price. I have also noticed that down one of the sides of the letherette case there are the words “MADE IN ENGLAND” imprinted in small type into the leatherette and did a little investigating an have found the folders to have been made by W. A. Goold Ltd in Walsall, renowned for quality goods. Thank you for looking.
