I am individually selling 5 Avis “Reward Day” certificates good for a free day’s car rental — up to a PREMIUM level car — at all participating locations in the USA (excluding metro NYC), Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S, Virgin Islands.. The certificates expire 12/31/2011. You can combine multiple certificates for longer rentals (up to 7 days, but I am only selling 5 certificates). You will likely have to pay some of the standard taxes and fees that seem to come with all car rentals these days. Due to their expiration date, I am not taking returns on these certificates. That is why I recommend you call AVIS (1-800-331-1212) before buying these certificates to make sure they are valid for the car rental that you plan to use them for. If they are valid, I would suggest you make the reservation (you’re under no obligation to use it) and then immediately buy the certificates from me before someone else buys them. The reason you need to call AVIS is because there are a few unpublished blackout days, and I don’t want you to have any problems. When you make the reservation, AVIS will also give you an estimate of any fees and taxes, but this estimate may be higher than the actual taxes. If you want an exact tax calculation, I recommend calling the branch where you’re planning on renting and tell them which coupon you are using. When calling AVIS, tell them you have coupon code “TUTA037″ — a free day certificate for “one day’s time and mileage charges on any car group up to a premium group (group G).” When you pick up the car, present the coupon(s) that you are using.
